Product description

A shrub with stiff shoots and an upright habit, reaching about 1.5 m in height and a similar width at the age of 10. The leaves are juicy green, turn orange/red/yellow in autumn, and fall off in the winter. Large flowers (8-10 cm in diameter), pink in bud, salmon/light pink when opened, with distinct yellow mottling on the upper petal, collected in spherical inflorescences at the top of the shoots. It blooms reliably and profusely in May and June.

Deciduous Azalea need an acidic and permeable substrate - a mixture of acidic peat or composted soil, sand and bark will work well. They lose their leaves in the winter, so they do not dry out or freeze in winter. They are completely frost-resistant in our climate and do not require any winter protection. Azaleas prefer sun or semi-shade positions. They look impressive planted both individually and in a group, in the company of other heather plants - rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers.
