The foliage consists of dense, tightly packed, cup-shaped branchlets with a deep, glossy dark green coloration that retains its pigment throughout the winter season. Due to its grafted form, this specimen functions as a sophisticated architectural element, combining the natural, oriental aesthetic of the species with the elevated display of a standard tree. It exhibits a minimal annual growth rate, typically increasing by 2.5 to 5 centimeters per year, ultimately forming a compact, sculptural canopy that requires negligible structural pruning.
